ATM2 Motion Disorder Therapy

ATM2 Pro Rehabilitation is a cutting edge therapy for pain with movement.  Many patients have had pain for years that responds only partially to standard chiropractic treatments or physical and massage therapy.  People for years have been going to their Doctors saying “It hurts when I do this.”  The ATM2 is for those patients with specific pain patterns; especially pain in the neck or low back upon bending or twisting.

Dr. Jason Helton is Lubbock’s ONLY Doctor certified in Kennedy Decompression Technique which gives specialized training in recognizing, classifying, and treating motion disorders and disc compression problems.

The ATM2 is unique in that for qualified patients it provides up to full relief in as little as ONE treatment.

Frequently asked question:

What can it help?
Conditions with painful motion such as neck or back bending and/or twisting.  Shoulder and hip pain also respond extremely well to treatment.

Are the treatments painful?

Not at all.  In fact, if there is pain, the treatment cannot be performed.  The treatments are done using stability belts to secure painful areas.  Then, specific exercises are done in movements that were previously painful.  The treatments are done with the patient fully clothed and take less than 15 minutes to perform.

Are the treatments covered by insurance?
Most insurance cover the treatments.  Of course, policy limits and exclusions vary by plan.  The entire treatment plan cost is explained UP FRONT so there are no surprises.

How does it work?
Much like learning to ride a bike, the body is very good at learning reflex patterns.  Just like you learn over time how to balance on a bike, the body learns how to “hurt” with movements.  Over time, your brain accepts this as fact and EVERY time you move that way it hurts.  Your Doctor uses the ATM2 to retrain your brain to move without pain by letting it move pain free.  Just like learning to ride a bike, in a few sessions, you can move without pain even after years of previous pain.

How do I know if I can be helped?
Your doctor will evaluate and test your painful movements to determine if you are a candidate for the ATM2.  With these tests, they will be able to determine with a high degree of certainty whether you need ATM2 treatments or some other therapy for reduction in pain.  The only way to know if we can help you is for us to evaluate you “hands on.”  Call our office today to set an appointment to see if we can help you get relief from that chronic pain that’s held you back for so long.
